A Dynamic Model For Poultry Supply Chain In West Java


 This paper analyzes the constraints on supply chain processes within poultry industry in West Java, Indonesia after COVID-19 pandemic. During upstream process, feed costs fluctuates greatly and lacks of storage which causing constraint, mortality rate chickens often surpasses 5% due to several factors including stocking density. Another identified problem adversely affecting process is inability small-scale farmers procure their own Grand Parent Stock (GPS) since they remain dependent upon corporations it, leading inefficiency increased production costs. Meanwhile, downstream processes, lack a cold system adequate capacity presents other challenges with regard product durability. Consumer awareness regarding relationship between food safety health, shifting consumer preferences, especially during pandemic also considered as constraint Java chain.
